Zalip BDG51AM Embedded 3G Router with VPN replaces popular CDG561AM 3G Router

The 3 Router Store have announced the Zalip CDG561AM 3G Router has gone end of life and has been replaced by the Zalip BDG561AM HSPA Router with VPN functionality.

The  Zalip BDG561AM provies a reliable 3G Router solution for a variety of applications including ADSL failover, mobile, temporary or remote office, M2M (Machine to Machine) and remote monitoring and management.  The BDG561AM has a maximum download speed of 7.2Mbps and a maximum upload speed of 5.76 Mbps.

There is also a new HSPA+ Router available in the Zalip range, the CDG561WE with super fast download speeds up to 21Mbps in areas that support the latest HSPA+ network speeds.

Zalip BDG561 HSPA 3G Router with VPN


The Zalip BDG561AM wireless broadband router is an embedded HSPA 3G router offering 802.11n high speed WiFi connectivity for multiple wieless devices as well as 4 x 10/100 Ethernet ports for wired networks.  The Zalip BDG561 3G Router also provides capabilities for up to five VPN connections using IPSec, L2TP or PPTP protocols.

As well as high speed Wireless N WiFi capabilities, up to 300Mbps, the Zalip BDG561AM-HU1 wireless broadband router also offer high speed HSPA 3G connectivity with download speeds up to 7.2Mbps and upload speeds up to 5.76Mbps.

3G Routers are in demand for M2M (Machine to Machine) applications such as IP CCTV and Digital signage as well as remote monitoring and management and being able to connect to your remote device using the 3G network means that you need to have a reliable connection which can be tricky when the 3G networks have a tendency to drop inactive connections.  The Zalip Router is designed to overcome these disonnections by utilising keep alive measures and it can even be configured to disconnect and reconnect to the 3G network at cetain times of the day to ensure that when required, the mobile broadband connection is ready for use.

Zalip BDG561

The Zalip BDG561AM is a 802.11n WiFi HSPA VPN Router. With its built-in HSUPA embedded module, you can connect to Internet anywhere using the 3G Mobile Broadband network.

Besides mobile broadband access, the Zalip BDG561 3G Router also provides a physical WAN port for fixed-line broadband, and supporting variety of WAN connection types, such as PPPoE, static IP, dynamic IP (DHCP client), PPTP, and L2TP. In order to protect local computers, the Zalip BDG561supports robust SPI firewall and flexible filter rules for your requirements. You can easily change settings by web-based UI, and backup or restore configuration if required. Speaking of SMS (Short Message Service) feature in every cell phone, you can also send and read SMS with BDG561AM-HU1.

The Zalip BDG561also supports VPN functionality including IPSec LAN-to-LAN, PPTP, L2TP.

The BDG561 Router increases it’s reliability by using keep alive measures to remain connected to the 3G network, and can also be configured to disconnect and reconnect to the 3G network at set periods thus ensuring a reliable 3G connection ready for when connectivity ios required. This is especially important for M2M and remote monitoring and management applications such as IP CCTV and Display Media.
