The Superfast Northamptonshire project has upgraded more than 10,000 rural premises to ultrafast fibre broadband since Phase 3 of the programe was launched in January 2017.
This milestone has been delivered by Gigaclear and boosts full-fibre coverage in the area to more than 11 percent, up from as little as 0.4 percent in 2015. The properties, in some of the remotest areas of rural Northamptonshire, are now connected to Gigaclear’s ultrafast FTTP network, allowing speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
