With many of us working remotely due to the coronavirus lockdown, keeping our broadband safe is more important than ever. The best way of securing your home broadband connection is by updating your Wi-Fi password. Express.co.uk walks you through how TalkTalk customers can change their Wi-Fi password.
Your wireless network name (SSID) is the name of the Wi-Fi signal being sent out by your router.
Your wireless password is what needs to be entered to access your Wi-Fi.
Remember, all devices connected to the Wi-Fi will disconnect once the Wi-Fi network name or password is changed.
You will consequently need to reconnect them all afterwards using the updated details.
Choose your router from the list below for instructions – you will need to contact the manufacturer for help if your router is not from TalkTalk.
